About Chinmaya

Chinmaya.M.Rao from a small village called Honagodu of Sagar taluk, Shimoga (dist).He has completed his BBM and MBA. He is a slave to music since his childhood. He started learning carnatic music in his early childhood and currently he is doing MA in Music from Madras University.Chinmaya started his music direction career with a devotional album called Omkara Rupini early in the year 2004. He is now shaping up himself with various other music albums.As a hobby he started writing devotional songs and many of them have been published in 'Manjuvani' a monthly magazine by Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Trust. Gradually his interest turned even towards poetry and literature in kannada. Bunch of his poems made into a book called "Vishwa Chetana" got selected to 73rd Akhilabharath Kannada sahithya sammelana during which 73 books were slected to be released from all over the Karnataka state.After this he was blessed to write a small booklet containing 121 slogans on "Gomatha" on the eve of Gou sammelan called "Maathegaagi maathugaLu"His latest work on literature is"Aaridrada hanigaLu" recently released by Hamsalekha the famous kannada music director.
